Nutritional therapy

Few people make the connection between nutrition, lifestyle habits, and health - but the truth is that eating a nutrient-dense, properly prepared, whole foods diet is often the least expensive, least invasive, most effective, and most enjoyable approach to transforming one’s health.

Whether you are looking to improve your health, well being, body composition or all 3 - you can be sure to achieve exactly that when you start participating in the process of what we eat, how we do it and eliminate the old staples for how we once tried to achieve those things. Focusing on quality over calorie counting, satiety and energy over pining for your next meal and dealing with afternoon fatigue.

The first step is making sure that you are feeling good. Once you can achieve that, anything is possible.

This option is best for someone looking for more structure and following a more holistic approach to their nutrition. Whether you’re an avid crossfit goes, barre babe, yogi or simply want to improve your habits, mood and energy - this option is great for you!

MONTHLY NUTRITION MEMBER + CUSTOM NUTRITION PROTOCOL

This option includes all of the benefits from the monthly nutrition membership but also includes

  • a monthly nutritional assessment to identify clients individual needs to meet their goals and to assess progress

  • a monthly protocol custom to the client based on likes, dislikes, lifestyle, needs and goals following a holistic approach to nutrition

This is a DIY monthly option with access to videos, materials and more exclusive to this membership $90/m

The Body Achieves What The Mind Believes

Hi, I am Janie Soehl Grillo, the creator of Mind Body Soehl Fitness + Nutrition and I am a firm believer in the power of mindset when it comes to going after a goal. Whether it’s profession, personal or related to health, fitness and wellness, your mind is your most powerful tool.

Growing up, I was fairly shy. It wasn’t until my early 20’s, when I found my passion + obsession for nutrition and fitness, that I started to break out of my shell .

Living with Type 1 Diabetes never really shook me until my young adult life. I wanted to do everything in my power to make sure I would live a long, happy life and keep the long term effects of my disease at bay.

Over the course of my 20’s I entered and completed many fun runs, spartan + tough mudder races and began lifting weights in a group fitness style setting. I worked 1-1 with a personal trainer and began to learn more about nutrition and the power of food when it comes to stabilizing my blood sugar, improving my mood + energy and improving my body composition. I entered and competed in 5 body building shows -where I learned a LOT more about physiology and how we respond to specific training and nutrition protocols. During that phase of my fitness career I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and Hypothalamic Amenorrhea. After achieving the best body I could have ever asked for, it all came crashing down and I was on a mission to heal myself from the inside out and gain my mental and physical well-being.

During my healing period, I discovered a “paleoish” style of eating, crossfit and powerlifting. I like to have a focus and this way of eating and training allowed me to see progress beyond my physical appearance while helping me strengthen my mind and body.

Removing the BS ingredients, focusing on rest and recovery was the greatest gift I could have given to myself

Since 2016, I competed in 3 local power lifting meets placing first in my weight class. I also gained my menstrual cycle back after 4 years, My antibody count around my thyroid has decreased so significantly that I do not have a current diagnosis and have been able to transform my body composition in response to focused training and healing nutrition, I have gained my energy back, greatly improved my brain fog and have recently been hyper focusing on my blood sugar regulation after a quick admitting to the hospital after coming down with acute DKA, a serious condition when the body produces too many ketones as well as glucose that can lead to coma, and if not treated right away, death.

Through all of my personal experiences, I have been able to work with so many wonderful clients along the way to help THEM overcome fears, improve their health conditions and body compositions, feel empowered through strength training and the wonderful benefits of learning how to eat real food and powerful energy these tools can bring to your life!

My mission and duty is to help you discover your very own personal plan. I love helping women pave their own paths, find their strengths and improve their weaknesses with nutrition + fitness. There’s no better feeling than to feel good. If we can get you there, we can get you anywhere.
