When I was 14, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.

It wasn’t until 7 years later that I decided to do something about it.

I quit smoking, I stopped drinking, I eliminated “bad foods” from my diet and signed up for a body building show.
In my mind, being lean AF = healthy and I wanted to represent health.

Through my bodybuilding career, I lost and gained 30-40lb, developed Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, Hypothelamic Ammenorhea as well as a strange relationship with myself and my health.

I removed myself from my position as a gym that was filled will mirrors, selfies and and ab obsession so that I could redefine my vision of healthy while guiding others to create their own without the extremes I started with.

I shifted my mind to a strength focused mindset. I felt like shit, I looked like shit... and my body was struggle city.

Completely inflamed and metabolically adapted to the 3 hours of training per day, I decided to pick up CrossFit. I didn’t have to look at myself or feel like other people were looking at me.

CrossFit was about performance... and that’s where I found a new level of passion for healing:

Getting strong was both mentally and physically rewarding. Over time, my inflammation was improving, I was actually building muscle because I wasn’t dieting or over training and became more focused on progressive overloading. However, the stress of CrossFit in addition to the stress already on my body wasn’t a great match... so I picked up powerlifting because I like to pick things up and put them down.

I was eating well, training smart, getting strong, feeling bomb. This was what I needed all along. I was finally in a body that felt like mine. A mind that felt like mine. I wasn’t battling with either nor was I offended when others didn’t agree.

Today, I continue to improve my health through whole foods, strength training, lots of good sleep, hydration + daily movement.

Am I perfect ? No. Am I my healthiest? Always working on it. Do I identify with one specific method of training and nutrition? Hell no. I have learned to use my favorite practices to create my own, which is exactly what I have done with my clients over the years and exactly what my coaching course is designed to do.

This is all about YOU. Educating yourself, experimenting, becoming more in tune with your body and focusing on the main goal: feeling good. Because you deserve that! Too often, women live day to day uncomfortable, stressed and obsessed in their skin because they “don’t fit in” to what’s expected of them.

I’ve never been here to shame you into fitness, shame you into a specific way of eating. Over the years of helping women develop and understand their own style and own methods of healthy, I am confident that each of you can create your own. All you need to do is begin and understand that the journey is the destination. You will always be evolving in your life, your relationships, your career; so why shouldn’t your approach to training and nutrition evolve too?

Step 4: book weekly follow up call to assess, reflect and review to continue developing and discovering what healthy looks and feels like to you!

  6. You will receive personalized training designed based on your lifestyle, time available, fitness level, likes and goals - subject to change based on progress/type of week ahead 

  7. You will perform weekly self reflection and assessment homework created for you based on your intake discussion and goals discussed with me at the beginning of our session
